Material and methods 106 consecutive patients operated on in the period of two months without previous selection, were evaluated. Cataract surgery was performed in all patients with phacoemulsification in one-day surgery. Outcome measured included patient's and surgeons evaluation. Results All procedures were performed in one-day surgery, irrespective of additional patients disorders. Combination of topical anesthesia with individual sedation gave a safe surgical course. 4 patients during surgery and 25 in the first postoperative day reported the pain. The mean score of patients evaluation scale was 4.7 (scale 1-5 points). The surgeons felt comfortable during the procedure. No major intraoperative complications were observed. słowa kluczowe: znieczulenie kroplowe, sedacja, chirurgia jednego dnia |
