W dniach 30.03–02.04.2005 r. w Cape Town (RPA) odbył się

5th International Glaucoma Symposium I. G. S., w którym uczestniczył dr n. med. Rafał Leszczyński. Podczas Zjazdu wygłosił referat

dotyczący głębokiej sklerektomii z użyciem implantu kwasu hyaluronowego.
